So, yesterday was the two-year anniversary of my starting my new
WOE/WOL.  It doesn't seem that long, somehow, but I'm very pleased
with the result.

I've only been in maintenance mode for about 3 weeks, so am hardly in
a position to be cocky about maintaining my weight, but I'm sure gonna
try!

You are certainly an inspiration and I mentioned you to my mom.

So, where do you want to be a year from now Chris? To lift more? To
weigh less? To party more?

Thanks.  How old is your mom?

Most definitely!

>To weigh less?

Most definitely not!  I want to remain in the 145-150 range.

>To party more?

Well, that's always good :-).

Seriously, I'd like to maintain my weight, build strength, and
continue improving my cardio fitness (though these last two are a bit
in conflict, it appears).  And I'd like to regain full range of motion
and strength in my injured shoulder.  And I would be most thankful to
remain as healthy as I am.  Many in my family are having health issues
right now, and I feel very lucky to be in good health.

you should not feel lucky, you earned every bit of health. Good luck
comes to those who work a lot, not always but usually.

I also had a shoulder injury last year, which only now has gone away.

Chris, you have the attitude that will no doubt carry you forward to long-term
success. Congrats on your "anniversary."

Best wishes...you won't need them.

Congratulations Chris!  You are a wonderful example of health and balance
to all of us.

I don't think it's a matter of being cocky.  Only you know if you
*really* changed. With that knowledge comes some confidence that even as
you fine tune your maintenance you don't need to *worry* over it.

Having a nice dinner out with wine and dessert is wonderful on occasion.

Barring illness or injury, could I go more than a day or so without
exercise now?  I'd feel like a slug.

Will I ever go to a potluck supper again and fill my plate 3 times and
then a hot homemade donut party the next morning!?  not a chance.

I'm not cocky, I've changed.  Enjoy what you've accomplished, it is
amazing <s>
