Well, actually I've been home since Friday evening. But this is the first
time I've felt like posting to the group. I haven't gained any weight or
have anything in particular to bitch about. I'm just very, very preoccupied
with getting ready for the move. We found a wonderful house. One that we
would have picked out if it was here in Lubbock, we were staying here and
had plenty of time to pick and choose. DH may put some of the still digital
pics on his website. If he does, I'll post the link.
We close on 8/2 if everything goes well. There's no reason according to the
lender's rep that it won't. We haven't got the inspector, appraiser and
surveyor's reports yet. That's the only area where the deal might fall
through at. But the house seems to have been well maintained and no obvious
problems exist. It was built in 1975 and has been occupied by the same
people since then. The widow who was living there has moved to San Antonio
to be closer to her grown children.
I have to get re-motivated to go to the gym, though. I haven't gone since
we've been back. We intended to go yesterday but ended up running errands
in the morning and getting a bid from a mover in the afternoon. Our
laziness had kicked in by the evening time and we watched tv (the Mel Gibson
movie "Signs" was on and we wanted to see it again) instead of going to the
gym after dinner.

Hi Tonia. Congratulations on finding a house you'll love. I bet that's
a great relief. I'd love to see pictures. Your part of Texas fascinates
me. I always ask where the trees are? <g>
Work out when you can. Right now staying stress-free is more important.
But you do know exercising does wonders for stress!
