Thanks Alien, I was  wondering about you and Hamburger lately, how are
you guys doing. I am glad you are maintaining! You are also an
inspiration to me. Is maintaining yuor new weight difficult?

Sometimes I give in to temptation for a day or so. But I dont find it
really to difficult. I dont ponder to much on exact calories or
dieting at all as much now. I eat a nice plate full at meal time then
get up and go about my buisiness. I eat a snack in between meals if I
happend to get hungry. If I put on a pound or 2 I just give up a snack
here and there and I will spiral down to where I need to be in a week
or so. It seems to work so far. The hardest part is grinding my teeth
through cravings the first few days after I endulge in sweets or
whatnot. It usually takes about 4 days of drinking lots of water and
eating normal again for the cravings to go completely away after
eating alot of bad carbs or sweets. I have had a few real bad binges
but didnt dwell on them and certainly didnt let them get me down.

To tell the truth I was finding it very difficult in the beginning.
Only because I was dwelling on maintaining every meal and every second
of the day. But when I stopped obssessing and just started living I
slipped into the maintaining groove. :)

Good to hear we are all doing well. Have fun with life and lets all
do our best to stay healthy.

Do you ever give in and partake of the evil carbs. :) :) If so how
long does it take your body to rid its self of the carb cravings?

I am very happy for you. It is not easier for me now than it was a
year ago, well up until last week. This week, is  a bit easier, I am
experimenting with some diet changes.

I try to... It is such a joy to live a good life now, it is still
unreal.

I eat some carbs, but I never have eaten any sweets or anything with
sugar (except minute amounts in some "curing", "dry rub" or some
such). I don't miss them... Don't want to go back to eating them.

What I finding out -- much to my surprise -- is that if I don't eat my
usual one slice of bread in the morning, then I am much less hungry
for the rest of the day. I tried it for a few days recently.
