Sorry if this is posted  twice.... didn't show up on my news reader
******

Well, I finally stepped on a scale and I am down to 132.5  When I really
started my new WOL (I no longer think of it as a diet) I was sometimes
finding the scale at 140.  I've been kind of monitoring my weight in the
morning and evening throughout the past couple of days and am very happy to
see that at night I haven't been going past 133.5.

Yesterday, I had my first Krispy Kreme donut experience.  I was presented
with one and was expected to eat it.  First, I kinda stuck my nose up at it
(food snob, ya know ;)), but since I have never EVER eaten a KK donut I
broke off a one inch piece and tried it out.  YUCK.  I then had to detoxify
myself with a bottle of 100% cranberry juice. ;)

I can think of few things nastier tasting than cranberry juice. But,
to each his (or her) own.

I think I'm addicted to the stuff.  I go through a jug of Ocean Spray every
week.
You're right - to each his own.

Ocean Spray makes a 100% PURE cranberry juice?  As in, on the ingredients list
there is nothing else but cranberry juice, no other added sugars or anything?

They are very good at making 100% pure bullshit labels...

Technically correct, but misleading.

It says "no sugar added."  But I actually checked the label and it DOES
contain other juices in it.  The only sugars it contains are naturally
occurring (25 g).  Unless it's all an Ocean Spray conspiracy. :)

The ingredients:
filtered water
concentrated grape juice
concentrated apple juice
concentrated cranberry juice
cranberry juice
natural flavours
asorbic acid

Now, to me, that does not look too bad.

Grape juice is sugar.  They "concentrate" it right down to simple
sugars, IIRC.  It's just a trick to look like it's juice instead of
sugar.  Oh, and look, it's the first ingredient.  In something that
doesn't taste even remotely like grapes.
