I made my goal of 128 oz.

While I love water, I hate the fact that our water
cooler is set so cold that I am chilled to the bone all
of the time. I've been mixing half tap and half icey
spring water just so I can still function without my
parka.

hehe!  On of my dogs drinks water as a hobby.  Seriously.  She will
drink an entire bowl at on time, leaving nothing for her sister.  She
will wash herself out, literally.  When she starts to do this we try to
distract her (usually works but we're not always around so...).  Anyway,
at this time we'll accuse her of being a "floater."  ;-)

I hope she's been tested for diabetes and kidney/bladder problems.
Drinking a lot is often the first sign of these in a pet.

I think I had about 2.5 liters -- a little short of goal.

Good, but not good enough. I drink more than 180oz everyday!

Some people here said that it was not going to be a competition!

And some people, like you Kelly, say that it is a competition. Or at
least that some people's goals are not good enough.

So, what is it?

If I drink two cups of water and you drink one gallon, what can we say
about the two of us?

I can see where you might get the idea that she is a troll, but I
don't think that she is a troll. She seems to be a genuine person,
posting genuine messages to various newsgroups (alt.audio.equipment,
sci.electronics, sci.chem.electrochem.battery etc). She seems to have
odd ideas about dieting, that's why many people called her a troll.
She is a slim person who wants to become a very slim person for some
reason. That's her reason for being here.

I really disappointed myself yesterday on my water intake mostly because
part of my weightloss mantra has been "water water water.."
Just 2 liters yesterday(thursday)

If I do less cardio, I do tend to drink less water.  I mean, I had 60
ounces of water before work!  If you exclude that, I think it goes down
to more of a "normal" number.  That would make it 120 and 128 is a
gallon so I would say that is more or less on track.  Also, I don't
drink much besides water (coffee in the morning but that's it).  Some
other people might report a lower water intake but include several
sodas, etc.
