Hi All,
OK.  Here goes.  I'm posting this someplace public and am prepared to hear
the worst.  Some days I have been less than perfect.  Some days I have been
very close.  What I am aiming for is some moderation.  I want to eat less
than I burn.  I am aiming for less than 2000 calories a day and most days
I'm close to 1800.  Some days it's less.  A few days it has been more.
Sometimes I notice a correlation between eating more and doing more active
stuff - the active stuff makes me hungry, not the other way around, so I
guess that is fairly healthy as well.  For instance, I ate a whole lot the
day I went caving all day and followed it with a (formerly Grateful) Dead
show and noodle danced all night.  But I burned a lot too.  I needed the
energy I ate.
I am working on other parts of me as well.  I am working at organization in
my life and (anticipatory) stress management such as not putting myself into
compromising situations or saying "yes" to every request.
You may see weird things like very small amounts of stuff - things that
would equate a bite.  These are ingredients I have used to make something.
:)
OK, so here it is, warts and all:

Good! No one ever said you had to be perfect! Remember, "Progress, not perfection."
