Hi All,
I've been doing my WOE which is working for me for 30 days now. :) Hardly
seems like it has been that long, so I must be pretty satisfied with what
I'm doing - the time ans weight is just flying away. :)
I'm doing a low-crap diet with a calorie target of around 1800. Somedays
I've had more and some days less. I've also had a goal of excercising at
least 5 days a week. I have made that goal every week. I am starting to be
able to wear clothing I put away as unwearable. I know some folks here
believe against keeping one's "skinny clothes", but I find it is fun because
these "skinny clothes" are in a range of sizes that remind one of the size
and state of mind one was in when last wearing them. I have not noticed any
of my clothes becoming too big to wear yet, but maybe next month or the
month after I will. I plan on not keeping ANY of my clothes that become too
big. As I shrink and get rid of big clothes, I'll treat myself to new
clothes that fit (even though I'll not be wearing them long, I want to look
good throughout this process!).
Anyway, I wanted to share a little success. :) I'm still setting my mini
goals at around 4 pounds a month.
Take Care All!!!!

Sounds as though you're doing something right! Well done! And I hope
you have given yourself a treat to celebrate 10 lbs lost!

My folks are visiting from Florida (900 miles from here) and Dad is fixing
everything in sight and painted my laundry room. Not that this has anything
to do with my weight loss, but I'm treatingit as my treat.

Congratulations on a successful month, Jen.
I have some of those "skinny clothes" hanging in my closest and I look
forward to wearing them. I have some good wool slacks that I haven't worn
for a couple of years. I can now get them on but breathing is still a
little questionable<g>

Amazing progress, Jenn! We seem to have started the new WOE around the same
time, and you lost 1.2 lbs more than I did - WTG :-))
My skinny and not so skinny clothes are still around. Last year I didn't
wear any because I was pregnant, and they won't be worn this year as well.
But I decided not to get rid of them, but to use them as a motivation
(thinking like, "If I lose another x lbs, I will be able to get into
this/that").
I'm packing for my holiday, and I just decided to try on some black denim -
the biggest pair of them that I have, but I consider them "skinny" because
I'm bigger now than I was when I bought them (and I was overweight then,
too).

I'm fitting into my biggest skinny black denim jeans, but I can't
comfortably bend down in them <g> They are good for walking around, but not
really for sitting. I wore them to my kid's orientation at school with a
long shirt and felt "not too fat"
:)

My Mom laughs when I use these words - but how can I describe them better
than using those exact same words?
They are my biggest denim jeans, but they are "skinny" compared to that I
only wore stretchy leggings before I even attempted putting them on!
