To my goal weight that is!! The last 1.5 week I've been following up on
some of the excellent advice I got here, and it's paying off. Not only did
I lose 4lb in that period, I am also starting to see the effect on my legs
and waist. Hopefully soon I'll notice the difference on my hips too :)

In addition I've been experimenting with the WW point system, just to keep
motivated. I'm not sure I will join, I find them rather pricy, and so far
I am doing well with the support and advice from here.

Thanks guys!!

And congratulations to you, too!  Now, you have a wonderful, wonderful
holiday and don't fuss too much about what you do or don't eat, but
relax and enjoy yourself!

Well done!  I still have a long way to go, even to my first goal, so I'm
so glad to see someone being successful.

Congratulations, this is a big deal to halfway. Most people are not
able to go that far.

O, but 180lb is only my first goal. Eventually I'd like to go down to
160lb. I just need something easy first, to know I can do it.

Below 180 would get you to officially "normal" weight, right?

If so, I think, you are downplaying your future accomplishment.

That's right. My BMI=25 weight lies at 178lb.

I need to do that. If I start making a really big deal out of it, I cannot
think of anything else anymore. Honestly, I never thought it would be as
easy as this.

WTG!  When you really change, it *is* easy.
