It is on the low side, and if you do not eat super carefully to get
all nutrients, you may find that staying at this level becomes very
hard. I say this not knowing your sex and activity level. Anyway,
enjoy the beginning part of the diet, when you are not too hungry.

Hi, and welcome.

What does, though, are those ready-meals the supermarkets provide that
you just have to hot up at home. They're also cheaper than take-aways.
And both Tesco and Sainsbury deliver, as does Iceland.com, if you still
have problems going to supermarkets. With the first two, you can order
on-line.

Can you try some exercise at home, even if it's only following a fitness
video? Just to get you moving and your blood circulating - it does help
with the weight loss.

Okay, they say you should eat between 8-12 kcal per pound of body weight
per day, so ideally you should eat (fiddles with calculator) between
2016 and 3024 kcal per day. So your present diet is a bit low - maybe
you want to raise it a bit. On the other hand, if you can maintain it
and feel okay with it.....

Just make sure you have plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, and take a
daily multivitamin, and you should be fine.

If I've done my calculations correctly, that's about 252 pounds.
>>I started at 1500 calories a day for the first 4 weeks but have now upped it
a bit to 1750 the last weeks.<<
If you're not hungry, I think that's fine. Like Annabel said, add some
fresh fruits and veggies.
Is there any chance you can have a doctor or nutritionist come to your
house? A nutrtionist could help adjust your diet given your
restrictions.

I eat carryout food (from high-quality groceries, not some greasy
spoon) almost exclusively. I talk with the clerks and cooks at the
groceries to find out what ingredients are in the products, then
estimate calories using fitday.com.

Bravo the weight loss. But what is "well chuffed"?
As always, YMMV.
