Food & Exercise -- 8/21/2004

Food:

8:30 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 3 slices
melted f/f cheese

10:30 (running errands): energy bar

2:00 (home): sandwich w/ 1 slice whole grain bread, 76g ham, 2 slices
f/f cheese

3:00 (home): 1 oz. cashew nuts

5:30 (home): 1 cup green grapes

7:15 (home): 96g ham steak; 160g total sauteed green beans and squash;
1/2 tomato; 3 mint meringue cookies

10:30 (home): 1 cup f/f Greek yogurt w/ 1 cut-up peach, mixed with a
little Equal and a little sugar-free peach syrup, topped w/ 20g All
Bran (very tasty :-) )

Totals: 1379 calories, 39g fat (25%), 155g carbs (45%), 112g protein
(33%)

Averages for the week: 1418 calories, 24% fat, 43% carbs, 34% protein
{A little lower than my target, but there will be some splurging next
week.}

Exercise: Just some shopping and a little housework.

Food:

Breakfast: 5 slices of Emmenthaler cheese

Lunch: fried eggs w/pork liver pate, cucumber and light cream
(1/2 ts olive oil, 3 eggs, 2 tbs pork liver pate, 1/4 cucumber, 1 ts light
cream, salt and pepper);
dessert: "diet cocoa pudding"
(200 g light cream, 1 ts unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 dash cinnamon, a few
drops of Splenda)

Dinner: 3 slices of 5 cereal bread, 3 cheese spreads, 2/3 tomato, salt &
pepper

Water = 7 cups

Exercise: none
(packing, housework and taking care of a teething 10 mo)

According to Fitday = 40 grams of carbs
