Caliper measurement?

I have a question for all of you who use calipers to measure fat percentage.

I'm not sure where to measure in the tummy area. If I measure on the side an
inch above my pelvic bone, my fat percentage is 24%. If I measure in the
middle, it's 28%. Where should I, or where do you all measure?

Clearly you should measure where it comes out to 24%.  :-)

Wendy, who still stucks in when she measures

PS: I finally ran out of the trader joe chocolate whey protein powder
yesterday... but meanwhile, a Trader Joe opened up 20 miles from here so I
could actually buy more!  (Thanks for tiding me over until civilization
reached my area.)  :-)

You will love TJs! It does rule...

But, I just got my Sur la Table catalog (gourmet cookware store), and I'm
pretty sure that's my favorite store. : )

Calipers are tricky and require an experience "pincher" as you might
find in a gym.  Two pinchers measured me, the novice said 25%, the
"pro" 15%. I'll take 15%. Being weighed under water ($200?) is the
"gold standard."  Men have an advantage - waistline is a good measure
- 40 inches obese, women 35 inches.
