Thank you dahling.  I feel mahvelous even though my hair wasn't washed this
morning (too cold & was running late so didn't have time for blow dry).

Did the snow on my deck give it away?  It 'tis cold up here but that's ok
cause I gots new boots :)  DH surprised me with them today and he was so
anxious that they would be the wrong size or something.  I always wanted
these boots but my calves would never fit in knee high ones.

Those are the new boots you wanted?   :)  I guess my flair for "winter
fashion" just isn't right....  winter fashion for me is crop pants and a
t-shirt and sandels  (my attire for today.).

What about the black leather to go with the short skirt - to show off the
new legs?  :)

Haven't found the right pair yet.  I am headed back to another licensing
workshop next weekend, the one so conveniently located next to a big mall,
and was planning to look around then since I have to find an evening outfit
for all of the holiday parties we're actually going to attend this year. I'm
thinking black leather skirt, red, sleek, sparkly sweater, over the knee
boots or something cute with a stiletto heel.

I am SO jealous!!  Time to plant the seed in someone's head!

You're skinny!!!  You should live closer.  We could snowshoe together and
you could teach me to run.  What a blast?

(on my way out to see if there are any boots to match the bindings on my
yardsale XC skis at the used sporting goods sale at the Legion!)

I'm a lucky lady with a great DH.  His birthday is coming up and I just got
him another pair of Maine Hunting Shoes from LLB that he was eyeing.

We can meet halfway, somewhere in Canada unless you know of a school
district looking for a technology coordinator in your area ;)

We've been to North Bay - on the way to Maine actually.  Avoid the Lincoln
Motel at all costs :)

*My* little school can't afford me.  Luckily I'm not teaching for the big
bucks - it's the glamour and social status that keeps me going.

Aww heck - if it's glory you're after, we'll throw you a parade. And I just
bit my tongue when I was about to offer a pot-luck supper - that's how we
used to celebrate everything :-/
