Among those striving for fitness are some of us that do low carb while
searching for new ways to eat as much fat as possible (as a percentage).
There is a Yahoo group dedicated to this called Low Carb High Fat.

link: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/LowCarbHighFat/

Topics range from coconut oil to portion control.

The group is moderated to block spam or PETA vegans.

If this sounds like your kind of thing, come check us out.  The message
history can be viewed without joining, and there is a links section to
related topics.

Out of curiosity, do you block solicitations to other newsgroups?

I recall one such post that was for a Yahoo group particularly for low
carbers from Israel.  I allowed the post.  Generally, if the post would be
on-topic and non-commercial, I would allow it.  At one time, someone
claiming to be Dr. Greger was surreptitiously joining low carb groups and
then making posts telling people they were going to die, or something.  That
is the kind of post I want to prevent.
