"Ladies and gentlemen, The Beatles!"
- Ed Sullivan (1964)
There are SO many good ones it's tough to choose. I sing "Here Comes The
Sun" to both of my children as a lullaby. "Let It Be" is one of my
favorites. Also "Eleanor Rigby" (all the lonely people, where do they
all come from?). What amazes me most about the Beatles is their staying
power. They were popular quite a few years before I was born and I love
their music. They appeal to all generations which is very rare in the
music industry.

You're right, I've always said around 2100 they will be a part of classical
music & people will listen to them like we listen to Chopin, Mozart, etc. I
used to know the titles of ALL their songs & most of the words although
their time was before my time too. My votes: A Day in The Life, Hey Jude,
Something, Lady Madonna, Hello Goodbye, With a Little Help from My Friends,
A Taste of Honey.

I used to sing Hey Jude. When it came to the part where Paul McArtney
screams, my wife thought I was over the top. Lost my lullaby license after
that.

Phil M., LOL! Did the kids like it when you sang it like that?
