Kasey, you are a rock! And you rock :-). You're getting really close
to your goal.
I'm curious -- do you do any weight training? You've probably said
sometime but I forget.

Chris, I did weight training from October through January. My right
shoulder, which I dislocated years ago, and my right wrist, upon which
I had surgery years ago for a form of repetitive stress injury, started
hurting. So I stopped.
I actually think it's the RSI kicking up rather than the weight
lifting. I'll be seeing my doc this week and will ask how to proceed.

I just wondered, because weight training can help retain muscle as one
loses fat. I also think -- though I don't know this -- that it helped
me end up with rather less loose flesh than most people have who lose
as much weight as I did. On the other hand, that make be just the
luck of the genetic draw.
I hope your shoulder and wrist clear up!

This is interesting. My dad has lost quite a bit of weight over the last few
months and was talking to me this weekend about his flabby underarms. I told
him it was probably loose skin but he asked for some exercises to "tone" the
area. I recommended push-ups and extensions; I hope they help. But I thought
the whole thing was rather funny because he has much more noticable loose
skin around his neck but isn't concerned about it.
