It does, in fact, vanish into the air.
When you breathe, you breathe in oxygen, and breathe out carbon
dioxide and water, which are formed as your carbon and hydrogen in the
body oxidizes and reacts to oxygen.
It is similar to a working engine. A running engine breathes air in,
and breathes air with less oxygen, but with exhaust fumes, out. These
fumes contain carbon dioxide and water (dihydrogen oxide), and traces
of other combustion products such as carbon monoxide. An engine that
burns its own fuel "loses weight" as it uses up fuel, and that weight
is added to the air.

Adding to i,
Think about it. When you drink water, sode, etc., you gain weight. When
you urinate, you lose some of that weight.
Now the water you drank today might have been the same water that
Julius Caesar pissed away.
Since it didn't leave the atmosphere, it was constantly recycled. Now
that we have space travel, we are losing some of that measure.
Still, something to think about. No space-geeks need R.S.V.P.

Hmm....suddenly I feel like I'm adding, even more, to global warming by
losing 40 lbs! <Panic!> :) I need a catalytic converter for use with my
Walk Away the Pounds videos!

Weigh your car when the gas tank is full, and then again when the tank is
empty. You'll see a difference in weight. Where did it go?
FWIW, your question is either a sad commentary on the state of scientific
literacy (or, in this case, illiteracy), or a sad commentary on the state of
trolldom.

It sounds like a question our old troll Kelly Clarkson would ask....

Sir or Maam
Can you explain in detail how you move your bowels?
Do you use your hands, or do you have a machine?
Do you briskly shake them, or slowly rotate them?
Is this something that you do for hours, or is it just a quickie one
night stand?
How often do you partake in this activity?
Do you ever achieve orgasm while moving your bowels?
When was the last time they moved, and how far did they move?
Did they move out of state, or stay in the same neighborhood?
We need much more information and detail.
