Food & Exercise -- 3/17/2005

A normal work and gym day.

Food:

* 8:30 (home): 30g Flax Plus granola, 30g All Bran, 22g whey protein,
1 cup skim milk
* 12:00 (work, brought from home): salad w/ 2 cups greens and various
veggie chunks, 60g grilled chicken, 10g grated parmesan, 2 tbsp f/f
balsamic vinaigrette
* 2:30 (work, brought from home): protein bar
* 7:30 (driving home): apple
* 8:15 (home): turkey burger on whole wheat English muffin w/ 2 slices
f/f cheese, dill pickles slices, and catsup
* 9:15 (home): 3 bite-sized chocolates

Totals: 1405 calories, 34g fat (22%), 169g carbs (48%), 123g protein
(35%)

Exercise:

1:00 -- 2 mile brisk walk

5:00 -- Olympic lifting and cardio

* Shoulder warmups
* Overhead squat w/ 15 lb. aerobics bar: 1x10
* Drop snatch w/ 15 lb. bar: 1x5
* Overhead squat w/ 15kg/33lbs: 1x5
* Drop snatch w/ 15/33: 1x3
* Snatch classic: 1x3x15/33; 1x2x17.5/38.5; 1x1x20/44; 1x1x22.5/49.5;
3x1x25/55
* Front squat: 1x4x20/44; 1x4x30/66; 3x4x35/77
* Good mornings: 1x5x30/66; 3x5x40/88
* Partial chins: 2x5
* Roman chair: 15 leg raises w/ bent knees; 15 w/ straight legs

Treadmill: 5K, alternating 4 minutes running at 6.2 mph with walking
at 2.0 until heart rate recovers to below 120 -- took 38'30"
