My co-worker is going along on that 'Glucose Revolution' diet that her doctor apparently suggested she start on being that she is borderline diabetic (apparently).

Came up to me and said she's lost 30lbs in 2 months. Now I see her every morning chowing down on a huge bagel slathered in cream cheese, eating McD's & such for lunch & downing C2 like it was water. She gets almost no exercise because she has knee problems.

What is the deal? I know my way is the right way for weightloss - slow and steady, but it burns me a little to see her trot around here telling everyone that she's lost this weight...

Anyone on the 'Glucose Revolution' or can give me the basics of how it works for reference?

Leafing through alt.support.diet, I read a message from

Is she telling the truth?

Apparently this book has been around for 6 years. It seems to be a low-
fat diet with emphasis on the glycemic index.

That was my first thought too.

If overall during the day, she eats less calories than she spends,
even if these calories come from Big Macs or C2, she would lose
weight.

30 lbs weight loss should be noticeable, do you in fact see it?

Some people live in fantasyland and she may be lying about her weight
loss, it is also a possibility.
