Hi y'all,

I am considering taking Hemp Oil capsules (1000mg) for a psoriasis
problem, but before I do I'd like to know how many calories it has, if
any.  I checked FitDay and it doesn't have it listed.  The packaging
doesn't say anything about calories. Anybody know?

My wild guess would be that it has the same number of calories as any
othe type of oil or fat, 9 per gram.

Google says:
Hemp oil contains 57% linoleic (LA) and 19% linolenic (LNA) acids, in the
three-to-one ratio that matches our nutritional needs.

So, it is basically typical lipids (therefore about 9 kcal a gram). Note
these are (LA) omega 6 and (LNL) omega 3 oils before processing into
arachadonic acid and docosahexenoic acid (that is, essential fatty acids).
