It's for sure they aren't good for you, and can negatively impact your life.
Whatever your lifestyle, giving up trans-fatty acids (margarine, et al) is a
good thing to do.

If you want fat, get it from real butter, healthy oils (like olive and
Canola), and avoid the vegetable shortening and margarine.

How about the saturated fats from Coconut and Palm oils?

At some point, we all just have to forget about all the things that
"experts" say will shorten our lives.  We'll have to find a lifestyle that
suits us best.  It won't matter what the "experts" say.

I know they mean well, but come on.  None of them really have much of a
clue.

Jim, I am confused. In your article

You complained that my followup to Andrew was "enabling him". And yet,
here, you are following up to Andrew's post yourself, with a genuine,
related reply. How come?

Because it was a genuine related reply as opposed to an off-topic
continuation of an obviously immature attempt for attention.

Why don't you post using your real name?

While I actually believe the same as you in this subject, are you gonna
annoy us for weeks with 20 postings on this everyday like you did the soda
crap?
