Post your goal/results here.

My goal for today was 25,000 steps including all of my activities.  I knew I
was golfing 18 holes which is normally good for at least 14,000 steps though
it can get to be more depending on how much searching for balls is required.
In addition to that, I have the American Cancer Society Relay for Life
tonight.  For those not familiar, this is an event  where teams raise money
for ACS by collecting pledges to walk a track from 6PM to 9AM.  I signed up
for a 2 hour shift on our team tonight and expect to walk at least 6 miles
(social walking) which is another 10-11,000 miles.  In between the two
events I'd planned to sit at my desk and work.

Golf came out to be nearly 16,000 steps mostly because my balls ended up on
the opposite side of the fairway than the rest of my group so I would hit
and then go join them - lots of back and forth.  Instead of working, I ran
errands and did chores and yardwork all afternoon so I'm about to leave for
the relay with 24,900 steps.  :)

That's a lot of walking!

I didn't take the bike with me to the car dealership.  They were only
changing the oil, replacing a burnt out tail light and trouble shooting an
ignition problem so I knew it wouldn't take too long.  Instead I did some
walking so I've racked up 11,100 steps today.

The fellows at the shop said they don't believe they've ever seen an
ignition problem like mine before - chewing gum on the key<G>  I'm sure I'm
going to hear about this as the mechanic is the son of one of the bike
patrolmen and knows me.

LOL, that's the first time I've ever heard of that one!

Turns out I only made it to 30,900 steps today.  I was drafted to work
concessions for a bit so I only walked about an hour and that was with a
fussy 3-year old (walk, run, give piggyback ride, stop to look at bugs,
etc.)

Goal 12,000
Actual 29,564

Went for 3 walks here in Spokane. Plus walking aroud shopping centres
and big box stores. It is really beautiful around Riverside park and
river trails.
2 walks in the morning before it got too hot, 1 in the evening.

Leaving this morning for Osoyoos, BC. about a 4 hour drive.

Don't think I will have internet access there.

So this will probably be my last posting of the challenge.
