Is Perrier water just as bad as diet soda?. Both are carbonated.

Well, lots of people who think diet soda is bad think it's bad because
it makes you want sweets, rather than getting used to appreciating
natural sweetness in fruits, veggies, etc.  Or else they think the
artificial sweeteners are harmful.  None of these apply to Perrier.  I
guess if one was worried about carbonation, the water would also be a
concern.

Personallly, I don't worry about any of this stuff.  I have been
drinking Diet Pepsi throughout my weight loss (130 lbs.)  and
maintenance (over a year now).  My only problem with it is too much
caffeine, but I'm sort of addicted :-).

The issue with diet soda is that it has phosphates as part of the formula
and they replace calcium in your bones.
