I think I'm on a roll today...
Does Splenda boil well? I have a recipe for cold slice pickles and was
thinking of subbing the sugar needed with Splenda. You have to boil the
syrup that you pour over the pickles. I know it bakes well but not sure of
boiling...

It is best to add sweeteners after cooking.

If you are experiencing any of the listed symptoms, regardless of your
belief that sucralose (Splenda) is the cause, be sure to speak with
your physician. The listed symptoms can be caused by allergic reaction,
disease, illness, or a condition that requires medical treatment. Be
sure to mention your suspicions concerning sucralose, if appropriate.

My mother-in-law switched to splenda for her cold slices last year and
they're great!

Well, I've used it to make cranberry sauce (i.e., starting with fresh
cranberries) and it has worked just fine.
