I picked my daughter up from her job this afternoon and headed to the mall
for lunch and some shopping.  I thought I needed a new battery in my Polar
heart rate monitor but unfortunately it's dead :(

This flu is really kicking my butt.  After 3 days on medication I still feel
terrible but I'm still planning on the bike ride in the morning.  I do feel
a little better after walking around the mall so maybe more exercise will
help.

Breakfast (home);  oatmeal, protein powder and ground flax seed

Lunch (Ruby Tuesday at mall);  1/2 cheeseburger with tomato, lettuce and
onion, salad (lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, banana peppers, cucumbers,
mushrooms, black beans), 1T ranch dressing

Snack (mall):  small chocoate chip cookie and cup of coffee

Dinner (home); 2T egg salad on multi-grain bread

Total calories: 1005
Fat:  56g  49%
Carbs 92g  32%
Protein 47g  19%

Ratios are a little lopped-sided today but that's what egg salad,
cheeseburgers and cookies do<g>  Calories are low but I just haven't been
too hungry with the stuffy head, runny nose, etc from the flu.  I'm sure the
appetite will kick in with a vengance once I'm feeling better.
