Saw someone (maybe Wendy??) post about a site called mybodycomp.com so I
went and entered my profile - and now I have a bunch of questions. It says
my bf% is 73% (UGH!) - does that mean that once you remove skeleton, organs
and various tendons and misc. stuff - you're left with a pile of fat that
is 3x as great as the pile of muscle? Also - it says that my RMR (resting
metabolic rate) is 340 calories - and my total calorie burn is 561 calories
per day (this *includes* the rmr). Does that mean, anything I eat over 561
calories and don't burn off is stored as fat? Also - if I want to change
the bf% .... I guess I follow the 'eat less, exercise more' formula, right?
Sometimes I need to just keep drilling that into my head. And - since my
waist/hip ratio is high and puts me at risks, I need to shoot for losing
fat - period - can't spot reduce, right? Thanks.

sounds pretty absurd.

The numbers don't sound reasonable, Teri. Could you have entered something
wrong? If I were you I would go back and double check everything.
Hopefully you'll get more sensible numbers.
Have you tried some of the other sites for measuring your BF?

Good idea - I found another bf% calc. based on measurements - and it looks
like the percentages on mybodycomp.com were flip flopped. Still - not
great, but better than what I originally thought!
