Today we drove home from NC.  This evening we've just been relaxing
and catching up on stuff around here -- and reassuring the kitties
that we're home to stay for a while :-).

Food:

* 8:30 (hotel breakfast bar): scrambled eggs (~1.5 eggs) w/ 1/2 oz.
shredded cheese; 6 oz. orange juice; small muffin
* 10:30 (driving): hard-boiled egg
* 11:30 (driving): 2 bite-sized chocolates
* 1:00 (restaurant): 8 fried oysters; 2 oz. French fries
* 2:00 (driving): 1 bite-sized chocolate
* 3:00 (driving): 1 slice banana bread
* 6:00 (home): turkey burger on whole wheat English muffin w/ 3 slices
f/f cheese, dill pickle slices, & catsup

Totals:  1380 calories, 61g fat (40%), 122g carbs (35%), 84g protein
(24%)

Exercise:  None.

Ugh ... don't talk to me about kitties right now.  Three indoor cats
(clawless) and a mouse in the house last night was a recipe for little
sleep.  I'm draggin' today after trying to sleep through all the
running, crashing, hissing and squeaking.

Yep, I've been there :-).  Our cats go outdoors to play, though (we
live in the country -- but they do have to come in overnight), so they
have claws and pretty good mouse-catching skills.  I'd as soon not
find mouse entrails in the hall, however!

Mine are front declawed and still have no problem getting the mice once they
come out from the walls/ducts.

Oh they got it.  It just wasn't done quickly or quietly.

LOL.  In our house the mice make more noise in the ducts than the cat does
catching it.  I'm hoping that our oldest cat teaches the kittens how to be
efficient mousers.

I smiled when I read this.  I thought to myself -- ah, back to normal ;-)
