Yep, I've been there :-). Our cats go outdoors to play, though (we
live in the country -- but they do have to come in overnight), so they
have claws and pretty good mouse-catching skills. I'd as soon not
find mouse entrails in the hall, however!

Mine are front declawed and still have no problem getting the mice once they
come out from the walls/ducts.

LOL. In our house the mice make more noise in the ducts than the cat does
catching it. I'm hoping that our oldest cat teaches the kittens how to be
efficient mousers.
