makes for an exhausted dieter with no time to go to the gym and for
making healthy lunches and snacks- thank goodness that is over!! today
was the first day of normal work and it is so much easier! Wish I could
say that I made perfect food choices this last week but hopefully i
literally worked my a.s off ;-) Now I just need to get back to the gym.
Interestingly enough last year after these super busy times at work I
was half dead! But now 50 + lbs lighter and fitter I am in a much
better state. I remember having to take 1/2 of a loritab because my
feet hurt so bad that I didn't think I could keep going. Also it is
good to ne back at ASD seeking inpiration :-)

Here's to all of us!  wishing us deep breaths and clear cool water!

Your job sounds challenging to say the least, but it also sounds like you
love it.  What exactly do you do?  I'm guessing review movies for
publications?   Great news on the bounce back ability!

I am a film and theater critic but as you can imagine without a TV
show or a major paper it doesn't exactly suppot me in the manner in
which I have become accustom to, so I make the majority of my income
from doing personal shoping for the Rich & Fabulous (not as glamourous
as it sounds) spending 12 hour days in grocery stores buying stuff- I
don't deliver (there are strong men for that) unless it is someone
famous that I haven't met before. lots of walking and lifting then the
rest of my life sitting in the Dark ;-)

I love movies and watch at least 2 a week (rentals, etc).  It sounds
wonderful to watch films for a living, but then I get to see the other side
from your posts.  Shopping for the R&F?  You gotta do what you gotta do.  12
hours in a grocery store??  I couldn't do that.  Your perserverance is
admirable!  ;)

Consider that statement carefully. Hell is an Adam Sandler film
festival. :-)

OK, 50 First Dates wasn't entirely awful. But there should be a special
theater in hell that shows the remake of Mr. Deeds Goes to Town 24 hours
a day....

or "Groundhog Day"   He's having the worst day of his life... over, and
over.

Believe it or not- I am not overly fond of Adam Sandler or Ben Stiler
and when I don't like their films I have people get crazy at me a the
Grocery store. Nothing worse than being a critic who is always in the
same store each and every day---where I am always available to hear
what is wrong with everything....it is a wonder some days that I get
any shopping done! Also imagine what it is like to be a 'food addict'
and spending your whole day surrounded by food ;-)  could have been
worse...could have been a Chef!
