I was wondering if there are any good exercise regimes/classes in the
United States. Would you know of any that would help? I will be very
grateful.

Thanks.

I walk, walk, walk.  You don't need a fancy expensive program or a 'club' to
get in shape and lose weight.

Success is a marathon, not a sprint...never give up.

I'm assuming that they have RPM (spin) classes in the States, if so
they really are hard to beat if you have some sort of workable level of
fitness. I do 3 a week these days and literally have never been fitter
or looked and felt better.
Otherwise, if you have a substantial amount of weight to loose walk.
Walk fast, walk uphill, walk often and walk for hours at a time if
possible. Buy a pedometer, a relatively cheap and absolutely essential
piece of equipment. I had managed to loose 50kg with walking alone and
a strict 1500 calorie per day diet in 5 months before I had set foot in
a gym. I've lost another 25kg in the 4 months since by eating sensibly
and working increasingly hard at the gym, during this period I have
actually become a fairly fit and lean person, not bad for a 34 year old
anyway and certainly far exceeded anything I could have hoped to
achieve. My only regret is that I didnt do it 10 or 15 years ago.
For me the most important thing is that you continue to challenge
yourself relative to the amount of weight you need to loose. Make sure
you are ALWAYS working as hard as you can and then just do a little bit
more.

There are almost an infinite number of exercise regimes in the U.S. The
choice of one then becomes entirely dependant on your fitness goals and
means to pay.

A good choice is always walking. Throw in some push ups, sit ups, pull
ups, dips, and body weight squats then you have a good foundation.
