A sort of messed-up day from the exercise perspective.  I had phone
conferences at lunchtime (so didn't get out to walk or run), and late
in the afternoon running past the time I usually leave on Thursday (so
wasn't able to go up to the Fairfax gym to do Olympic lifting).  I did
go to a yoga class -- a fairly vigorous/advanced one.  I'm not going
to be able to do much with Olympic lifting for a while, as I'll be out
of town for a week and half, back for a week and a half, then out for
two weeks.  (Olympic lifting requires special facilities that are hard
to find elsewhere.)  Ah well ... another 4 months :-).

Food:

* 7:30 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 3 slices
melted f/f cheese, dill pickle slices, & catsup
* 11:45 (work, brought from home): a sort of salad (no salad greens)
of a bunch of veggies (asparagus, carrots, squash, grape tomatoes) and
102g filet mignon, with calorie-free ranch dressing
* 3:30 (work, from stash there): energy bar
* 6:30 (driving to gym): apple
* 10:00 (home): turkey burger on whole wheat hamburger bun w/ 3 slices
f/f cheese, dill pickle slices, & catsup; 2 bite-sized chocolates

Totals: 1314 calories, 45g fat (31%), 105g carbs (32%), 117g protein
(36%)

Exercise:

7:00 -- 75 minute vinyasa yoga class

Until retirement?

Yep :-).  I'll be 58 -- not really retirement age -- but, for a
complex chain of reasons having to do with a series of corporate
acquisitions, I have a pretty compelling financial incentive to resign
from my current job on July 31.  If I wanted to, I could just get
hired back in a slightly different capacity -- just so it looks
different to the government -- but I'm not planning to.  What I'd like
to do is combine some part time consulting with being a personal
trainer part time.  In practice, I need to figure out how to work that
out.  But I'll take a few months off entirely before I start doing
either of those things, I think.

I can totally relate to that!  I'll be 40 this year and DH and I are working
on a plan for me to semi-retire in the next 5-10 years. :)

I like to use phone conferences as an opportunity to stretch or do
crunches. ;-)

Well, in one of these I was doing almost all of the talking, but in
the lunchtime one I spent much of the time doing yoga poses.  (I have
a closed office :-). )
