Well, one week down, one to go -- here in St. Louis, that is. (Not
that there's anything wrong with the city, I just miss being at home.)
Anyway, today we worked a short day, as the building's air conditioning
was off (they were replacing the equipment) and it became very hot and
stuffy. So I went to a local park for a run.
Food:
* 7:30 (hotel breakfast bar): waffle w/ 3/4 oz. peanut butter; 6 oz.
orange juice
* 10:15 (work, brought with me): small protein bar
* 12:15 (work, brought with me): salad w/ 1 cup greens, 1 cup other
veggies, 1/2 cup pineapple, 3 1/2 oz. salmon, 2 tbsp f/f ginger sesame
soy dressing
* 2:30 (driving back from the park): 1 cup red grapes
* 4:00 (hotel room): 1 oz. mixed nuts
* 7:30 (hotel room): 4 oz. turkey breast burger on whole wheat
hamburger bun w/ 3 slices f/f cheese, dill pickle slices, & catsup
Totals: 1492 calories, 54g fat (32%), 138g carbs (37%), 115g protein
(31%)
Exercise:
1:30: 2 times (reversing direction the 2nd time through) through a 1.5
mile "fitness run" (3 miles total run), with brief stops at fitness
stations to do some different activities (sit-up/hamstring stretch,
jumping over series of logs, pull-ups, step-ups, vault over bar,
reverse crunches, oblique stretch)

Ah, but did you get enough sleep? Research has shown that getting
enough sleep can be as important as diet and exercise when trying to
lose weight.

What on earth would prompt you to comment on my sleep?
Anyway, I've managed to successfully lose 130 lbs. with my current
sleep habits.
