I'm looking for a dieting site to help me keep my diet, and keep a
journal. 6-7 years ago I visited a site which seemed pretty
"intelligent", which could generate "personal" text-messages with good
advice etc. based on the entries I made. I'm looking for a site, where
I can input everything I eat and exercise I do, and it tells me what I
should adjust in order to reach my goal.

Did you check fitday.com?

Hi.
Actually, I just found it. This might have been the site I used at that
time as well. Thanks. Others?
Peter.

Sparkpeople.com is the other popular free site.

I think that some people who frequent this newsgroup may also subcribe
to the WW site.

It's not free, but I like it: http://www.calorieking.com/
It     has a food & exercise diary, food lookup, charts & graphs, will
generate a meal plan if you want.  It does not give personalized
recommendations, though.  There are member-only forums which are very
active.
