I recently discovered Polaner Sugar-Free preserves at Wal-Mart.  
They cost about a third as much as the low-carb preserves at GNC.
They are tasty.
The label shows 5 carbs per tablespoon which seems high,

I have a good friend who sells (imports) kitchen appliances. He usually
drops off samples  like toasters and coffee makers ...Great stuff !!  Today
he showed up with a juicer  I'm not sure what to do with it . I'm afraid to
use alot of friut and as far as using it for veggies .. ...

Was just listening to Dr. Phil on the idiot box. He said low carb diets are
bad because the human body needs a minimum of 500 calories per day of
carbohydrate for the brain to function. I guess he doesn't understand the
fact that fat and protein are readily converted to carbohydate.

So should I limit my saturated fat calories to twenty percent of total
calories per day or not.  I am new and now I am really confused!
