Hot chocolate question31 Jan 2004 06:37 GMT14
In the "DaVinci sf syrups" thread, several people mentioned using the
syrups in hot chocolate. I am fairly new at all of this, and was
wondering if someone could tell me how to make low carb hot chocolate?
Thanks!

Saw a leaflet today all about Atkins (logo's & everything) saying that some
Boots stores

What Handy Stuff do you get at the Grocery?31 Jan 2004 04:39 GMT10
I find that there are some things I always buy when I'm low-carbing,
because they're so convenient.
1.  Wings.  Bake them with salt, pepper, and garlic and add Frank's
Red Hot Sauce.
Any G.I. diet gurus here?31 Jan 2004 04:33 GMT2
I'm starting this G.I. diet (glycemic index by Rick Gallop) and wondering if
anyone here can answer a question for me.  I haven't quite figured out how
to tell if something has a high or low glycemic value.  Is there a way to
figure it out from the nutrition label?  So far I'm just ...
Atkins Not Working31 Jan 2004 03:51 GMT40
I tried the Atkins diet for about three weeks eating basically meat eggs and
cheese and didn't have much luck. Any of my friends who have tried it and

DaVinci sf syrups31 Jan 2004 02:42 GMT36
Walmart (at least this one!) is carrying the syrups...small bottles and large.
Had at least the vanilla, hazelnut, irish creme ones....do they even make

I believe the small was 3-something, the large 5-something--but that was
Jenny:  re soy31 Jan 2004 02:19 GMT12
Jenny, I guess the aforementioned lasagna, which uses tofu as
"noodles", is the end of my not using soy--at least for the next
few days.  I do believe there has been a major decrease in my hot
flashes.  That would be interesting, since I THOUGHT tofu and
The Diet DOES lower Cholesterol31 Jan 2004 01:43 GMT4
OK...been on the Atkins diet for a year and a half now...for YEARS I had

New CarbSmart  Ice Cream==> GAS!31 Jan 2004 01:14 GMT5
I picked up a box of CarbSmart popsicles (chocolate coated) and after
reading a message here, discovered that the list of ingredients was indeed
different from the ones I'd bought in November.
They tasted much better and had a much less greasy mouthfeel. But, lordy me!
