2nd day -- induction16 Jan 2004 00:54 GMT5
I have so much energy today. Maybe it is because I am excited about starting
again, but I think it is because of the lack of carbs. Had fried eggs,
cheese, pepperoni, my own clam "chowder" sans the potatoes, sugar free lemon
Jell-O.  And I am feeling great!!
Headache - What is the Cause?16 Jan 2004 00:39 GMT9
Today is my 3rd day of eating low carbs.  Never done anything like this before
in my life.  I don' t need to lose a whole lot only about 15 lbs but my wife
would like to lose more so I'm doing this with her.  Ever since the first
night I've had a headache and it's gotta be caused ...
Radio ad that got it right!16 Jan 2004 00:24 GMT22
I heard this ad on the radio for an Italian restaraunt called "Romano's
Macaroni Grill."  I was only half paying attention, but the ad copy was
something like  "You're enjoying your meal, staring into her dark eyes,
while she eats her grilled salmon with a side of veggies since ...
Introduction16 Jan 2004 00:24 GMT4
I've been here before, but left for a while ... Maybe 6 months or a year.
Now I'm back, and back on low carb.
I've been out there experimenting with things like Sugar Busters (which made
it way too easy for me to slip). I've gained and lost the same 10 pounds for
induction period., Newbie16 Jan 2004 00:09 GMT2
I am very new to LC diet and I like to know what kind of food can and cannot
take during the 2 weeks induction period.
Found some yummy LC tartar sauce!16 Jan 2004 00:04 GMT3
I LOVE baked catfish with lemon pepper seasoning, but was really missing my
tartar sauce. While shopping the other day I was looking at all the tartar
sauces hoping to find a lower carb one and I found it! It's Kraft Lemon &
Herb. It has <1 carb for 2TB while regular Kraft tartar ...
The Definitive Sugar Question16 Jan 2004 00:04 GMT2
On Low-Carb Diets, is sugar by itself best avoided, or is it only the carb
amounts contained therein?

Read this article and wondered if it would be good for Atkins/lc dieters,
too.  Any thoughts?

Milk (UK) Atkins Induction15 Jan 2004 23:05 GMT6
Can anyone tell me why you are not allowed to drink milk on Atkins
Induction?
I've tried double cream in tea & coffee but am not impressed.  I only like
1tbsp in drinks.
South Beach or Atkins15 Jan 2004 22:11 GMT49
I do not know which to try and follow.  I would appreciate your help.
I must be the very susceptible to carbs...my short story15 Jan 2004 20:52 GMT2
I began LC the last Sat. in May last year...never really considering it before a couple of weeks before I started.
But, I didn't even think about counting calories (just discovered this site yesterday), as Atkins said to count carbs, so, after registering at the Atkins site, and ...
Fuddrucker's protein plate...15 Jan 2004 20:48 GMT7
Went to Fuddruckers last night, planning to order a steak, or get a
burger and throw away the bun, and saw a new item on the menu, the
Protein Plate.  It is a 2/3 patty, and dinner salad, and a water for
$5.99.
Old Bay Seasoning15 Jan 2004 19:18 GMT12
I see Old Bay Seasoning mentioned in recipes all the time, but I can never find
it at the standard grocery stores in the San Jose, CA area.  Is that one of those
"East Coast" things or am I just blind?  I'm sure I could order some on-line, but
it would be nice not to have to pay ...
