I started on Atkins on 11/13/03 - 11 weeks ago. Since then, I've lost 20 pounds. Cholesterol has gone down from 254 to 228 LDL cholesterol has gone down from 136 to 132

I had my cholesterol tested (fasting) on Feb 21, 2003. I started the Atkins diet in June of 2003. My latest test is from Jan 14, 2004. Total Cholesterol went up from 163 to 168 HDL cholesterol went up from 71 to 82

I found a sauce at Trader Joe's that made for a nice change of flavors for supper: it's called "Punjab Spinach Sauce", and has a pleasant Indian flavor. It's not hot or spicy; just flavorful. I simmered fake chicken (Quorn cutlets) in it; it would be even better with real chicken.

Anyone here tried the "G.I. Diet" (glycemic index) by Rick Gallop? I've done Atkins a few times and lost weight quickly and easily but never manage to stay on it and when I go back to high carb I really pack on the LB's in a hurry. Before Christmas I lost 23 lbs on the Atkins in 2 ...
