My appetite got smarter14 Jan 2004 18:37 GMT2
This is so cool.  Used to be, pre-LC, that if I pigged out all day one day,
the next day my appetite would be just as big.  It didn't matter how active
or inactive I was either, I'd just always want to eat a lot.  Now though it
seems like my appetite actually responds to what ...
atkins not expensive at all14 Jan 2004 18:34 GMT11
I find I save money doing Atkins.  I do not enjoy fish/seafood.  I eat
cheap cuts of steak marinated, ground beef, pork chop or chicken all
which i get for under two dollars a pound.  With the veggies if it is
over  a dollar fifty a pound I go without.  Eggs under 2 bucks for 18.

on the brink14 Jan 2004 17:43 GMT10
So..  I'm convinced low-carb is about to change the food industry
forever..  In the past few months, low carb food has showed up in our
local supermarkets.. in the past few weeks, 7-11 has put up a low carb
section, and Subway has their new wraps..I asked the subway working
Depressed, discouraged, hopeless14 Jan 2004 17:38 GMT13
I am depressed, discouraged and hopeless. In 2002 I did Atkins and lost 45
lbs.
In 2003 I proceeded to break an arm and have a cast for 13 weeks which
included ending  up hospitalized for blood clots.  No sooner did I  get the

The article compares FOUR diets, and the costs per year to follow said

Question on Atkins vs. Sugarbusters14 Jan 2004 16:53 GMT3
Can things like Honeydew Melon, small quantities of Orange Juice, or
banannas/clemintine oranges be worked into low carb dieting.  I say "I dont
think so", then she points out that Sugarbusters allows for these sorts of
things.

... they are dovetailing in perfectly with my low-carb plan.  Today I ate
the Turkey Bacon Ranch Wrap (with green pepper, ripe olives, some onion) for
lunch, and for dinner I fixed a four-egg cheese omelet with four thick
