How do I get started and where do I look? Ready to GO!14 Jan 2004 15:11 GMT3
I am ready to start a low-carb diet and need to know where to look on the
web for info. I know very little about this diet, but I am ready to commit.
I understand that there is a 2 week induction period, but I don't know the
do's and don'ts. Is there a good web site that provides ...

Hola,
I just want to say that a lot of good things are
happening and love is in the air...
Almost 30 pounds down (28 to be exact), during the Holidays
Need some induction help.....14 Jan 2004 14:43 GMT4
I've read the book and I've been successful on the WOL several years ago.  I
kept 48 lbs. off until I got pregnant with my son.  The last time I started
Atkins, the first week my weight, number wise, went down significantly.
This time, I'm not seeing any results my first week.  I'm ...

Candida?14 Jan 2004 12:11 GMT3
Help!  I have a sever rash all over my legs, thighs, and the back of my
knees.  It is incredibly itchy.  I was reading through my atkins book and it
mentioned a rash as a symptom of Candida.  I am also severely allergic to
house mold, it causes asthma attacks.
Eating greens - a spinach confession14 Jan 2004 12:07 GMT21
Okay, I have stated several times that I love greens, and this is true.
However, there is one green, spinach, that is far from the top of my
favorites list which my wife loves cooked and I will eat but...let's just
say I'm not Popeye.
Definitely seems harder14 Jan 2004 11:26 GMT3
This WOL/WOE definitely seems harder the 2nd/3rd/4th time then it did
the first.  I'm not sure if it's because I've cheated in the past so
it OK to cheat now or if there is a metabolic reason.
Is there any proof that it's actually harder after you gain back all
Carl's Jr.14 Jan 2004 05:39 GMT2
I just had the l/c $6 burger w/o tomatoes ...
I ordered the "combo meal" with a salad and diet coke (I thought it was funny
that the person taking my order asked if I wanted 'fries or a salad' as my side
LOL)
Returning to the fold14 Jan 2004 05:26 GMT7
Hello fellow lo-carbers!
A belated wish for a terrific new year! I have not been here for
awhile due to a death in my family. My older brother was visiting me
at Christmas, and unexpectedly passed away of a heart attack in our
ZonePerfect Bars14 Jan 2004 04:49 GMT2
Does anyone here eat ZonePerfect bars?  Is it possible to live of them, even
just for a few days? Are they endorsed by Barry Sears? I ate one today and
it tasted great, but I can't find Barry Sears's name anywhere on it. Are
they to good to be true? - Also, do they leave you craving ...
Appetite suppressants...14 Jan 2004 02:58 GMT15
Has anyone considered taking these along with doing the diet?  I haven't
yet, but I was wondering if it might help the initial cravings.
I noticed that I was eating acceptible things, even though I wasn't
hungry, because I think I was trying to satisfy my carb crave.
Atkins Salad Veggies14 Jan 2004 02:43 GMT1
If I make up a bunch of salad with all of the acceptable "salad
veggies" - lettuce, cucumber, bell pepper etc., and then just scoop
out my daily 3 cups...how many carbs should I be counting?  I don't
want to have to measure each item that is in each scoop.  Can anyone
