Just today, I'm down to 170.  Yipeeeee.
I started the week before Thanksgiving.  I heading for 155 or 160.

Pantethine - ? for the medical experts in group30 Jan 2004 11:37 GMT1
A couple years ago, after doing a lot of research, I began taking Pantethine to
improve my lipids.  The research indicated Pantethine could raise HDL and have
some effect in lowering LDL without side effects even when taken long term.  It
certainly seems to have helped.  My HDL is ...

Boycott Florida Orange Juice30 Jan 2004 09:13 GMT13
Actually I don't necessarily recommend the boycott but just wanted to
let the viewers know that they (the orange growers group),  were upset
with Atkins and other low-carb diet plans.    I saw this on a news
show and it said basically that they are ready to pounce on advocates
A Good question30 Jan 2004 07:11 GMT17
If someone follows the high protein/low carb diet religiously, then
won't they have a problem with a lack of energy even if he or she eats
the right carbs?
Eating a lot of protein/fat doesn't seem logical.  Do people who go on

No Carb No Cal No Fat Salad Dressing?!?!?!30 Jan 2004 03:58 GMT9
This evening while at the market and grabbing for my
spinach leaves, I happened to see a dressing making
these claims at eye level.
Hmmm...  I'm game so I picked up a bottle.  It's from
No S Diet30 Jan 2004 03:48 GMT10
This isn't necessarily low carb, but you can do it in conjunction with
low-carb (or high-carb!), if you want. Might be worth a look for those
who are having trouble sticking with vanilla low-carb. I like to think
it's worth a look even if you don't stick with it -- the site is
South Beach Diet  Lite?30 Jan 2004 03:43 GMT2
My wife and I have been doing the South Beach diet and it works great,
particularly for me since I am a Type II diabetic. However, the
recipes in the book are expensive and not that easy to make. It worked
out for us because I have not been working the past couple of weeks
It is time.....30 Jan 2004 02:51 GMT6
Well, next Monday I am going to go back on Induction.  I need to lose 4
pounds to get to my final number and then I am going to go by the mirror
only.  I will be 185 pounds, which will be 2 pounds more than what I weighed
in my junior year in college which was the lightest adult ...

lazy person's mac&cheese substitute30 Jan 2004 01:47 GMT9
I make the "Macafoni & Cheese" recipe sometimes (google for it if
interested -- there's a zillion hits).  While I like it, it doesn't really
resemble macaroni & cheese at all -- the eggs make it taste more like
quiche.  Last night I made a quick stove-top eggless version that was ...
