| Losing weight, but not inches | 11 Jan 2004 19:59 GMT | 7 |
I'm sure this question has been posted before, but I seem not to be able to find any answers to it. I'm using Outlook Express to read these news postings, and it only shows so many. I googled this list to find more answers, but with little success. So, I'm going to outright ask. ...

| Another newbie question: for DC area low carb-ers | 11 Jan 2004 19:16 GMT | 7 |
I'm starting SBD on Monday. I heard a lo-car grocery store advertised on the radio: Whoa, that's low. I live in Loudoun County, and this store is in Silver Spring, MD. Is it worth my time to head out there tomorrow, or can you get pretty much the same stuff

http://www.detnews.com/2004/business/0401/08/b03-30101.htm What caught my attention (regardless of breakfast) was the last sentence - a new place to buy Atkins bread... no longer will I have to drive 1/2 hr to the closest health food store that carries it (which, fortunately,

| What's The Best CHEAP Multi-Vitamin? | 11 Jan 2004 18:59 GMT | 6 |
I usually just take the Walgreen's brand, but i know there is a big discrepancy between the contents of them and some of the higher quality ones. Is the brand market stuff sufficient to take or is there a good cheap multi-vitamin that is better? Thanks.

| rewarding manufacturers | 11 Jan 2004 18:56 GMT | 11 |
I finally saw some of the LC smart ones and more of the LC Lean Cuisine meals at my local (usually deficient) store. I can't say they are too appealing, in part because they are, for the most part, very low-cal (I saw as low as 140 cals for a so-called

| Use of celery | 11 Jan 2004 18:34 GMT | 4 |
Since beginning the low carb WOE, I've tried to find new ways to fix carb friendly stuff. Celery is one of my faves; salads are okay for lunch, but I'd rather have something heated for dinner with my protein. I sautee or braise sliced celery in a little olive oil with a touch of ...

| My stomach feels funny | 11 Jan 2004 17:28 GMT | 3 |
I got up this morning and was drying off after my morning shower (please, ignore the visuals;) and, while toweling down my stomach, felt a couple of hard spots, one on the right side first then on the left side as well. I'm not kidding you, it took me a little while to figure out ...

| Please help interpret blood test results | 11 Jan 2004 17:25 GMT | 6 |
I've been on Atkins since early Sept. 2003 and have lost 20 lbs, according to my scale. I'm a 32 year old female, 5' 4" tall. My starting weight was 162 lbs, and I now weigh 142 lbs. I had a blood test done immediately before starting Atkins (9/2/03), and this past week I had my ...

| Idiot retards at my workplace | 11 Jan 2004 16:46 GMT | 12 |
I apologize now if the subject offended you. I do not use the term "retarded" often, and since my father drives developmentally challenged people for a living, I certainly use the PC terms when referring to someone who is differently abled.

I think I asked this before, but reviewing the posts, never found my post or the replies? Do pure extracts (like vanilla, peppermint, almond, etc used in baking) have carbs? Why not add these to decafe coffee with a Splenda? Thx for
