Hair Loss - more than once?11 Jan 2004 15:24 GMT23
I'm very glad that people discussed the possible hair-loss
thing on here before it happened to me - I'm not *completely*
freaked out, just slightly freaked.
I understand that, if it is going to occur, it often occurs at

So if you have low glucose levels, and high protien levels, and work out...11 Jan 2004 14:17 GMT5
Then does that mean that your body goes to the glucose stores first, and
then the protein stores?
From what I am reading, the three phases of ATP production when working out
is Phosphagen (less than 10-15 seconds), then Glycogen-Lactic (up to 10

It has been hard but I already feel results.
I have allot of weight to lose and think this time I might just be able to
keep it off. I have lost weight before but only through starvation diets..

That other thread discussing this was too advanced and complicated for
me.
All I know is that a couple of yrs. ago, mine was great.  Over the last
yr. or so, it's up to 310.  I was shocked.  Dr. said a lot of it is age.

This is really quite interesting and neat.

Can You Microwave Veggies?11 Jan 2004 05:13 GMT14
This is probably a dumb question, but I have only ever seen them boiled

Artichokes. Can you just pop them in? Yes I would try it, but I am a
tightwad and don't want to see food money go for science ...
Subway wrap expensive11 Jan 2004 04:48 GMT18
I thought I read in one of the posts that the Subway wrap was $2.99.  I
tried the turkey/bacon melt today and while it was very good it costs me
$4.79 and there really wasn't enough to it to keep me from being hungry.  I
came home and ate some cheese to supplement.

buttered cookie sheet and cooked them for about ...
