| Instant Ice Cream | 10 Jan 2004 13:29 GMT | 3 |
I had seen this done on television long ago but didn't try it until last night. Unfortunately I don't have exact measurements of what I made, but it's not really critical. If you get the ice cream to a consistency and flavor you like...you've made it right!

| Obesity shortens life span - Does starvation diet lengthen life span | 10 Jan 2004 13:27 GMT | 16 |
I'm sure it does from the research I've heard lately. While many may argue otherwise, what I really want to know is how many calories I should eat to simulate the starvation diet that has been used on monkeys and rats that were given 30% less calories than a normal diet

| Can't hold the carrots | 10 Jan 2004 05:16 GMT | 15 |
I'm a little irritated with our local restaurants (southeast U.S.) because their salads come pre-mixed with shredded carrots. Although the restaurants don't add the shredded carrots, the wholesalers do. It's impossible to pick out all of the carrot bits, so how do I count the ...

I watched it the other night on the food channel. Very intertesting. The chef and his wife lost mass weight together. He had a wonderful recipe for Tequila chicken. I made it last night and it was different but good. I'm going to tweak it next time and reduce the cumin. The

I lost 60lbs on low carb, from 236 to 169 in 7 months, then over the rest of the year gained back a few pounds and leveled out at 174. Been that way for the 2 years following with 2 or 3 pound fluctuations at times of my choosing :) Over the Christmas I just ate a near fatal
