If I weigh myself right when I get out of bed I'm about 7-8 lbs lighter than
when I weigh myself right before bed.  Which reading should I be going by?

Donut Fraud09 Jan 2004 22:00 GMT20
I heard on the news that a man got 15 months in jail for donut fraud. He
was buying donuts in bulk whole sale and repackaging them as low carb, 1
gr fat and 3 gr carbs when it was really about 20 grams of fat and 50
grams of carbs. These figures are not exact but they are ...
BLEEECH - Bristol Farms LC Cheesecake09 Jan 2004 21:53 GMT1
Bristol Farms is a very upscale market here in So Cal & when I saw the
ad for LC cheesecake, I got rather excited, as their food is usually
pretty good.  Bought a piece today for $2.99 (actually price marked
was $3.29, but she charged me 2.99 for some reason - I'm not

Hey guys,
I just wanted to introduce myself to the group.  DoughBoy, call me Dough.
You'll see me around quite a bit.  I've been lurking here for a while.  I've
been fat all of my life (I don't use 'heavy' to describe it. I'm fat.).  In
A Chocolate Treat... Opinions, Please09 Jan 2004 21:37 GMT5
This treat is a simple and tastes good... to me. I use pure Ghiradelli
unsweetened cocoa powder(18% net carbs by weight, 0 sugar carbs).  I put a
few tablespoons in a glass with a rounded bottom and add some water and mix
the powder into a thick paste. Then I add half&half cream to ...
NY chicken company09 Jan 2004 21:32 GMT6
I'm aware that this is slightly OT. However, I have interest in
low-carb diets and have posted here before. I also believe that many
of you live in the NY are and have a tendency to buy poultry more than
"regular" dieters.
Wheat Protein Isolate09 Jan 2004 21:16 GMT5
Has anyone tried using the wheat protein isolate from Locarber.com as a
substitute for flour in recipes? How did it work? Do you think it really is 1.5
g. carbs per cup?
Thanks

If you like to listen to music when you exercise, what do you listen to?
I'm trying to compile some music to play on my Walkman while I walk my laps

Are red pistachios higher in carbs?09 Jan 2004 19:34 GMT7
Hello All, I was just wondering because for some odd reason the plain ones
give me a mild allergic reaction(very scratchy throat), while the red ones
don't. I know, it sounds crazy, but it's the truth. The red ones actually
taste sweeter to me also, but I can find no information on ...
So, what is 'ASDLC position' about that lipid theory / hypothesis ?09 Jan 2004 18:37 GMT21
I mean, recently I have read a lot about lipid hypothesis being wrong,
PUFAs, transfats, statins, animal fats etc.
Just to quote some, see e.g. http://www.thincs.org/
