Nausea & Atins?09 Jan 2004 18:02 GMT5
I have been doing Atkins since 10/27/03 to the success of 17 pounds
now gone forever. In the last 3 weeks, with no diet change, I have
started to get nauseous in the morning after breakfast and it lasts
several hours.
Weight Loss Spreadsheet09 Jan 2004 17:48 GMT15
I made this for myself.  It may give motivation to those who weigh daily and
struggle to control calorie intake.
It's free but you'll need Microsoft Excel.  Good Luck!

Frozen Yogurt Maker  Recipe Help09 Jan 2004 17:24 GMT4
My  wife brought the family a Cuisinart frozen yogurt maker  for
Christmas.  In looking at the recipes for frozen yogurt the
ingredients as well as the carbs don't seem to fit into a low carb
diet in any way,  ie. for berry frozen yogurt one uses a half cup of

I saw Jamie Oliver on BBC Food yetsterday and saw something I had to try

CarbSense Granola is NonSense!09 Jan 2004 16:27 GMT30
Can someone check me on this....I think this product's labeling is screwed
up....I've written to Carbsense for clarification...
On the box, it claims 4g net carbs per serving.  This is a no Sugar Alcohols
food.
flaxseed - is there something I should be concerned about ?09 Jan 2004 15:49 GMT14
recently I started to like flaxseed. It seems be rather ideal kind of LC
desert / snack - 3g fiber, 1g net carbs per tbs, 59kcal, and right lipid
types, if somebody cares...
So my consumption now slowly increases (well, not much, 3tbs a day now
Rate my induction diet and quell my Teriyaki fears...09 Jan 2004 15:11 GMT2
I'm nearing the end of week two.  Unfortunately, I have been
traveling most of week 2 and don't have a scale on which to
weigh myself.  Last measurement was on Monday (7 days) and was
down 10.5 from the previous Monday morning.

Starting over the third time09 Jan 2004 13:55 GMT13
Low carb is the only diet I've ever successfully lost significant weight.
That said, I have also gotten off of it now 2 times and gained it all back
plus.
I was in here last year and went from 375 down to 325 between 1/2/3 and
Lower Beef Prices?09 Jan 2004 11:20 GMT20
I wonder if we'll see lower beef prices with other countries banning US
beef?
Butter09 Jan 2004 10:55 GMT24
Saw the tail end of a documentary about research done on rats. Some were fed
lots of butter, some were on other types of fats. The ones on butter had a
massively higher chance of developing heart problems.
OK so I missed the rest of the documentary, and didn't catch it's name, so
I think i feel "depressed" because i missed the gym. possible?09 Jan 2004 08:50 GMT10
Wow.
For the first time since taking on the LC WOE, I feel sort of down and
depressed.
I used to be down all the time, constantly. I used to have bad mood swings
SERIOUS Low-Carb Bars?09 Jan 2004 08:15 GMT11
I'm putting information together for a book on LC dieting, and I am
trying to come up with prepackaged foods to recommend.  It looks like
almost all of the bars available have over 20 grams of carbs now, not
to mention glycerine.  I came up with a list of bars with less carbs
Fruit fiber and carb counts?09 Jan 2004 07:18 GMT2
When I started low carbing I made a list of all the fruits I'm likely to
eat and their carb content, but neglected to list the fiber.  Now that I'm
