They still don't get it27 Feb 2004 21:21 GMT24
Why is everyone so stupid about low carbing. Here is a short article where
some tool thinks low carb = high calorie and that it will be bad. Little do
they know it is not high calorie. Geez-us-christ.

Easy cabbage soup recipe27 Feb 2004 21:18 GMT4
I saw a recipe for an easy cabbage soup on a web site, but didn't copy it
and when i tried to go back to it, I couldn't find it.  It was very simple -
just sausage, cabbage and chicken broth with perhaps one or two more
ingredients, and was made in a crock pot.  Does anyone remember ...
My first vacatioon low carbing27 Feb 2004 21:13 GMT5
Well guys, all this low carb training will be needed this week. 7 days on
vacation, meals unknown. I'm sure I can find what I want in the restaurants,
but when your touring, its different than the home schedule.  I will have a
kitchen, so there isn't any real excuse to compromise. ...

Jumping Rope with Atkins' Intestines27 Feb 2004 16:11 GMT11
Another report has surfaced. Apparently, Atkins died with 25 pounds of
rotting fecal matter in his intestines. He has actually surpassed
Evlis' record by many pounds. IMHO, Atkins looked far from the picture
of perfect(or even reasonably good) health. No wonder; he was full of
REQ Taco Meat Recipe27 Feb 2004 13:14 GMT13
The pre- packed dry mixes that I love so much are, of course, overcarbed.
Since I discovered the lowcarb tortillas, I've been in Heaven, but I've just
basically been eating crumbled hamburger meat in them. I needs some spice to
them. Any ideas, folks?

Breaking through a "plateau" - how?????27 Feb 2004 01:44 GMT13
I'm 5' 11", and went from  250 to 221 in a couple of months on a

though it. My target weight is in the low 180's. Can somebody please
help?  Here's my routine:
Stevia - This is a joke, isn't it?27 Feb 2004 01:36 GMT12
After reading about the apparently marvelous sweetening capabilities of this
herb on this NG, I found some today (50 grams for about 8 USD) at the local
health food store.
They only had the powder form and the packaging recommends half a

Keto Vanilla Moon ice cream?27 Feb 2004 00:55 GMT27
Has anyone else tried these ice cream bars? They're amazing, and claim only
2g net carbs because of sugar alcohols, glycerin and sucralose. Is it
possible? It tasted better than most of the no sugar added stuff we've tried
before LC ;-)
Marriott Hotels add low-carb breakfast items27 Feb 2004 00:53 GMT1
As a Marriott-brand hotel General Manager, I was pleased to get a chainwide
e-mail this week that the breakfast standards have changed, adding more
protein and low-carbohyrate items in response to the current popularity of
low-carb diets.  Also, the select-service Marriott Brands ...
