Not another "My story" (ok it is)25 Mar 2004 21:05 GMT2
I'm a 41 year old male.  I'm approx. 5'6" in height and while on
vacation last August and on my 3rd soda of the day I asked myself
"What am I doing?"  The next day I weighed myself and had finally gone
over the 200 lb mark.  I had always told myself that I'd never reach
I'm coming down with a bug:(25 Mar 2004 20:11 GMT10
Still in induction and my throat is sore.  Can I eat some sugar free jello?  I
know it has aspartine in it (ok I spelled that wrong lol) but I need something
for my throat.   If anyone can give me some advice I would appreciate it.  I
have been wearing shorts out here for the past ...
Queston for fitday.com users25 Mar 2004 17:05 GMT6
I have been amazed by the actual number of carbs and calories that are
in a day's eating after I started using fitday.com.  I was a champion
at unsuccessful low-fat "dieting", and thought I could keep a mental
tab of calories without a problem.  Having adopted LC as a WOE, I
Staying just a bit hungry......25 Mar 2004 16:51 GMT70
Hey everyone
Well, eating just enough to get rid of hunger pangs, but staying on
the edge and learning to enjoy the hunger a bit is my new thing.  As
much as I love to eat and drink, it has been good for me to retrain my
Hey Guys: Low Carbing & ED?25 Mar 2004 15:35 GMT11
My recent research has come up with a bunch of articles suggesting that
neuropathy (nerve damage) often occurs long before blood sugar deteriorates
to the level where diabetes is diagnosed.
I've also learned that ED is very common among diabetic men and appears to
5 years Atkins (for Newbies)25 Mar 2004 15:29 GMT5
This is for you newbies that are constantly afraid of all the doom and
gloom BS you hear from your friends, and the net. Just got my bloodwork and
my chloresterol actually is still slowly going down. It used to be about
250, and after LCing 5 years was 210 today. This really ...
OT: LiveJournal users?25 Mar 2004 14:13 GMT17
I noticed that Lexin mentioned in a post about "messing around on
LiveJournal" and I wondered how many of us here have weblogs?
If you don't want to share the URL, that's fine -- but I'm really
curious about how many folks just on this NG do online journalling.

herbalife25 Mar 2004 08:04 GMT3
Forgive me if my title and question is politically incorrect; How
successful is the product herbalife?. I seemed to be getting it in the
search whenever I punch in diet and weight control. There are
testimonials of course but I guess this support group will be unbias
had a great snack in Sam's Club today25 Mar 2004 07:14 GMT24
There was a lady giving out snacks, who had some canned salmon mixed with
Ranch dressing into a spread.   It was absolutely delicious.   I bet it
would go well on cucumber slices or on celery sticks.
Not too bad for junk food25 Mar 2004 06:07 GMT7
I had a couple of hard boiled eggs sitting in the fridge ready to go with
me to work today, and like a dumbass I forgot them.  Around 2ish I felt my
energy flagging, since I hadn't eaten yet, and I said what the hell, maybe
I'll get something from the vending machine.  I couldn't ...

Has anyone heard from Carol Ann?  Has she split into two separate persons
yet?
I remember that Bridget was pregnant, too.  Any news there?
Nosily yours,
