Exercise for the day21 Mar 2004 17:01 GMT45
I'd say the hour of shoveling counts as my exercise for the day.
Certainly I've found back, arm and hand muscles I didn't know I had.
Let's hear it for variety!
(Lemons, lemonade, with Splenda, of course!)

Sometimes our over-sized portions are a matter of habit than real need or

I joined up with them yesterday.  however when I had used their log/diary to
put in what I had eaten it had almost doubled my carbs.  I have carefully
weighed and calculated my carbs using the packets information and Atkins
ratings in the books.  Am I doing my calculations wrong ? ...

Part of lunch today:  sliced cucumber, with some garlic-and-herb-flavored
cream cheese spread, topped with a few bits of diced red bell pepper.  On a
couple of them, added a drop or two of some Vermont Pepperworks habanero
hot sauce.

Any training tips here?
For over 10 years of donating I've never had any side effects besides
the bruise. Now I'm low-carbing it. I'm down to 190 lbs - I lost 30 lbs
in 6 months. I donated recently, and that evening I got very dizzy twice

"Trimspa" or Drugs?21 Mar 2004 04:31 GMT30
I saw Anna Nicole Smith on Larry King last night.  She looked like she was
drunk or on drugs of some kind.  She slurred her words and her eyes were
dull.  She says she still takes 2 trimspa tablets a day, even though she
looks great.  If trimspa is as powerful a stimulant as she ...
And What is Wrong with that???21 Mar 2004 02:39 GMT37
You know, I have to laugh at people who come on to this newsgroup as if
they have something shocking to reveal, only to post "You're really on a
reduced calorie diet!", with the air of someone who has just made a
scientific breakthrough... like many of us don't know it...
LC Cook books?21 Mar 2004 01:05 GMT11
I Googled this, but the results weren't as clear cut as I'd like.
I'd like to buy an LC cook book or two, preferably those that don't rely on
"chemistry set" LC ingredients.  I'd say I'm looking for recipes using
simple ingredients to yield simple yet tasty LC dishes.

Induction question20 Mar 2004 23:01 GMT17

worse. It's worse when I rise from a sitting position.   Is it normal to feel
this way while in induction?  I've already lost 2 ...
heavy whipping cream20 Mar 2004 21:59 GMT18
I see in Atkins New Book during Induction in the sample menu one of the
deserts is sugar free jello with heavy whipping cream. I went to the store
and the cool-whip had sugar in it (1g). I found the heavy whipping cream
next to the milk and it too had sugar in it (1g). I found ...
