| Stalled -argghh | 19 Mar 2004 07:22 GMT | 46 |
I'm in the second week of induction and things have been going well for me with a loss of 14 lbs - though I've been stalled the last few days. This puzzles me because I've been keeping the ketostix purple to the tune of "light" to "moderate" on the bottle color chart.

| Effect of cheating on keto strips | 19 Mar 2004 06:27 GMT | 4 |
I was wondering what kind of delay there is from the point of cheating on the diet, to the point of noticing that your out of ketosis by reading the keto strips. For example, if I accidetally cheat (the other night I had ordered some

| Progress so far | 19 Mar 2004 06:25 GMT | 6 |
I've been doing Atkins since 2/29. The first two weeks on induction I lost 6.5 lbs out of my goal of 24.5. I have contined to stay on induction (this is the third week), and have seen the scale go up and down by 1 or two pounds daily, without a further drop in weight.

| no-smoking progress | 19 Mar 2004 03:06 GMT | 14 |
OK, so I'm not doing so bad. I've not shouted, screamed or drawn blood since I last smoked ( I don't like to think of myself as a non-smoker, just that I don't smoke at the moment). I did get really really hungry, which I guess is normal.

| Good sugars? Bad sugars? | 19 Mar 2004 02:10 GMT | 19 |
What is the low-down on sugars that cause digestive distress? I tried some non-sugar hard candies the other day that were sweetened with something called sucralose. After just eating a few I knew it was affecting me badly.

What is everyone's favorite breakfast food? I have been eating eggs and bacon for almost a week. Is there another solution for breakfast...something as convenient as eggs and bacon? I have looked at several recipes, but everything looks like it takes at least four

With so many new reduced carb products coming out these days that include Sugar Alcohol, I was wondering if anyone has found an over the counter medication that can be used to help counter the negative reaction so many of us have.
