Gas/Diarrhea and LC Ice creams?18 Mar 2004 23:25 GMT27
Has anyone been having problems with gas and diarrhea with LC ice cream?
Since eating more than my fair share of Breyer's LC mint chip I have been
having a lot of belly grumbling (more like bubbling) and diarrhea.  The gas
part comes while the diarrhea is taking place.  (I really ...
Measuring salad18 Mar 2004 23:03 GMT18
How does one go about measuring 2 cups of salad greens? On Atkins, you can
have the two cups daily but two cups seems like such a little amount. I have
never actually measured it since I can't squeeze lettuce into a measure cup
so I kind of estimate. Plus they say it is supposed to ...

Another San Francisco favorite from the city's glory days. Got it from
here - http://www.cooksrecipes.com
It's a dish found at most of the "Joe's" restaurants all over the bay area.

Part of the aggresssive attack18 Mar 2004 21:27 GMT34
In light of the slow-down, I'm on a new tack.  Aggressive.
So, this I have planned the following:
a.  Since aspartame stalls some folks, and I've still been using it (due
to no affect earlier in the game), I'm axing aspartame for awhile to see

FDA to decide what's really a low-carb food (CNN)18 Mar 2004 17:58 GMT1
Article on CNN:

Seems that different companies use different methods to count carbs.
This should establish a standard.
Bella Vita Past bummer18 Mar 2004 17:29 GMT8
Finding all the Bella Vita pasta missing from local store shelves, I asked the
folks at Trader Joe's today.  They said there was a "labeling problem" and they
don't know when or if it'll be back.
How I Handled My Vacation (or I Blew It!)18 Mar 2004 17:20 GMT7
Well, I knew it was going to be tough.  A company sponsored trip to an
all-inclusive resort in Cancun.  It was fantastic, thank you very much, but
man was it hard!  First was the plane trip: we leave home at 4AM to catch a
7AM flight.  No food until the stewardess brought the ...
Vegetable Gardening18 Mar 2004 17:08 GMT19
I got space to garden, like vegetable gardening. A decent area too. I
always loved gardening. Every year, I do more, add more.
I am starting to make plans now, seeing the season is coming around
now.  I plan on planting tomatoes, cabbage, green beans, broccoli,
Continued progress - under 190 18 Mar 2004 15:53 GMT13
I tipped the scale this morning at 189 and continue to
progress right along.  I'm still trying to get my food
quantities right so that I slow down here at the end and
don't bounce back up.  Yes, I've already bounced up a couple
