Confused about carrots18 Mar 2004 14:57 GMT3
I had always taken for granted that carrots were a no-no on low-carb diets,
but I just looked on FitDay and a large carrot has just over 5g of carbs
after subtracting fiber.  That seems pretty low-carb to me.  A bit high for
induction, but if you're eating 40 or 50 grams a day ...
The atkins diet is unbelievable, but my urine could gag a maggot!18 Mar 2004 12:38 GMT4
Day 3:
the strips are looking more like the far purple end of the scale, I
have really bad "sick" breath, and my urine smells so strong I have to
pee sitting down so I can keep it contained. The good news is, the

Cinnamon Pork rinds18 Mar 2004 07:29 GMT6
The Cost of Cinnamon Pork Ruinds is way to much.
So I made my own and it turned out pretty good.
Lay out a layer of Prok Rinds on a cookie Sheet.

Cici's pizza--crustless18 Mar 2004 07:14 GMT22
Intrigued by the "Crustless Pizza" that Cici's Pizza is offering, I ordered
one.  It came in an aluminum dish about 6" in diameter.  How was it?
It was like getting a thick tomato soup with cheese melted on the top. What
WERE they thinking?  They just poured in some sauce, sprinkled ...

Cooking eggs in the Micro18 Mar 2004 03:37 GMT9
Are there any devices for cooking scrambled eggs in the micro?  Currently,
I'm just using a bowl, but it's a bit hard to clean and doesn't have a
top.  Thanks!
By the way, cooking eggs in the microwave is by far the easiest way to
White thing on egg yolk18 Mar 2004 03:27 GMT2
The little white things next to the yolk means that the hen that laid
the egg had been visited by a rooster. It means the egg is fertile and
would have hatched into a little chick if it had been incubated. If the
hen had never been with a man, I mean rooster, the white thing ...
This is all wrong18 Mar 2004 03:15 GMT62
A no Carb diet is all wrong.  I know this for fact.
It works the same as a car.
Remove the carb from your car, and the car wont run.
Remove the carb from your diet, and YOU wont run.
GOAL-ish18 Mar 2004 02:11 GMT6
The past weeks I stayed at around 70 kilos (154 pounds), pretty much
being content with the progress I made so far. And then three days I
suddenly dropped two pounds and am now at 69 kilos.
I cannot believe it. I dared not dream of this when I started this WOE

I have lost 30 lbs on Atkins and my wife wants us to switch to the SBD.
Anyone done the same?
Any comments about the two diets?
Also, we have several Atkins products, such as the nummy candy bars and
CRAZY sweets/carbs cravings just before "that time of the month"?17 Mar 2004 22:32 GMT53

one big reason lately...I am STALLED. Stalled stalled stalled. And

Crazy mad cravings starting exactly one day before "that time of the
