Help!  The cravings are coming back!15 Mar 2004 14:49 GMT30
I've been on South Beach since mid December.  Lost 30 pounds because
the low carbohydrates removed my appetite and I wasn't craving late
night snacks.
Now, in Phase II, the only things I've re-introduced have been
Speaking of Yogurt ~ Hood Carb Countdown Sucks!!15 Mar 2004 14:09 GMT9
I bought an entire case from Sam's Wholesale Warehouse.  Talk about nasty!
I have to add Splenda (wished I had some DaVinci syrup left over) just to
get it down.
It has the texture of a pudding and the taste is horrible.....

[REC] Very simple ice-cream15 Mar 2004 12:51 GMT1
Mix deep-frozen strawberries with refrigerated mascarpone using some
powerfull mixer (add some sweetener if needed). As simple as that :)
Only drawback is that while mascarpone is low-carb, it is pretty
high-calorie - so use only in moderation. I will try it full-fat cottage
South Beach Diet15 Mar 2004 12:31 GMT13
I need help with the South Beach Diet.  This is week two for us and I don't
think we are cheating, but we are not following the meal plans exactly.  We
eat only what is in the foods allowed columns, but some of it is so vague.
Pop?  Is it allowed or not?  What is chocolate powder, ...

CAROL ANN /Challenge apology 15 Mar 2004 10:22 GMT3
Please forgive me for not posting my February final
I was in a terrible head on car crash at the End of February and am
just not able to sit at the computer for longer than 5 mins without
pain.

I am an ex-smoker!15 Mar 2004 08:52 GMT50
Yup.  Had my last full cigarette last night, didn't know at the time that
it was my last.  This morning when I got up, I took my first puff of the
day, and said "Man, this is gross." So I threw it in the sink, threw the
rest of the pack in there, dumped all the butts from the ...
Ping:  revek - calculator program15 Mar 2004 08:50 GMT7
Okay, I'm into some of the calculations for the calculator program now - and
right away I noticed a couple of problems.
The first is the 'ideal weight' formula - there has _got_ to be something
wrong with this, LOL.
Getting back on the Wagon (so to speak)15 Mar 2004 07:59 GMT5
Hello everyone.  I've been reading here on and off for a while, probably
posted some a while, long while actually, back.  I had been doing the low
carb thing and was doing quiet well, till I ate some pizza one night and
that was it, no more low carb for me.  Well, I'm trying to get ...

Monday15 Mar 2004 05:07 GMT6
Do you always start a diet on Monday, I used to think that was the only
day I could begin. But I started Atkins on a Wednesday in August 2003. I
woke up and felt so horrible and thought enough of feeling like this.
Yogurt question15 Mar 2004 03:30 GMT11
Anyone here eat plain yogurt?  I bought some Dannons for hubby a few days
ago, and thought I might give it a try, but at 14g of carbs (13g of sugar)
per 1 cup serving I was afraid to try it.  Reading Dana Carpender's "500 Low
Carb Recipes" she mentions that on the 'GO' diet, the ...
a funny... mildly OT15 Mar 2004 02:39 GMT15
One of my Thursday students is a girl scout, and I don't think I need to
tell you what that means.  She's also one of my special needs students,
and so, yes, I made the purchase.  I bought several boxes, and they came
Thursday - in one large box.
